Full hard drive error - ODK Central

Good day,

Please I have a similar problem with my server. It was showing Error 500 with no space, so i increased toa higher size. When i try to submnit to the server, I get Upload Results (Error: Failed to connect to domain/IP-address

On the console, I get the message

"Failed to create new system journal: No space left on device"
System information is disabled due to load higher than 1.0


We are in the middle of data collection.
Please, any help is appreciated.

Please upgrade your Hard drive space and reboot your server. I hope below steps will help you.



I'm assuming you are using DigitalOcean?

The instructions @iamnarendrasingh provided to resize your disk are generally correct, but they are for AWS.

I'd encourage you to read DigitalOcean's instructions at https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/how-to/resize to reduce any chance of errors.

Did you setup disk monitoring as we strongly recommended at https://docs.getodk.org/central-install-digital-ocean/#setting-up-monitoring?


Thank you @iamnarendrasingh for your response. I couldn't follow up because it was on another table.

@yanokwa I finally had someone who helped me with it. From my conversation with him, It occurred to me that the disc started having the error after I had installed laravel on my console. I finally had to increase my disc space, according to his advice.

The file that caused the problem is still there, in some directory.
