Geo data collect

Hello all,

I have a new survey coming up
I have collectors visiting patients in the filed - I want to collect geo
coordinates of all visited participants
I want to use the collected coordinates on the previous visit to locate the
mothers - with use of goolge maps
any heads up will be much appreciated

If I may infer that you have a previously collected dataset, loaded under
a form in ODK Aggregate, of previously submitted forms which contain a
geopoint specifying the location of the previous visit, then you can just *export
*the form from ODK Aggregate as a KML file, which can then be opened in
Google Maps/Earth to show the location of each previous visit.

From the ODK Aggregate console, go to the "Form Management" tab, hit
'Export' for whatever form contains your dataset. Then pick Type="KML file"
from the chooser, "Export" (again), and you'll be presented with a popup
for "Geopoint", "Title" and "Picture". Geopoint should already be filled in
with the appropriate geopoint property in your form definition.

xiphware has this exactly right.

And if you don't want to use Google Earth, you can also do this with
Google Maps with https://www.google.com/mymaps. Import the CSV or KML
export from Aggregate and use that to build the map. Then if you can
share that map with all the Google accounts of the enumerators (or
just have one account for enumerators).
