Dear All

Hope you are well and doing fine.

I have been asked one question on ODK application, i will appreciate if i
can get more technical clarification from

you .

It's true that GPS point can easily be collected from ODK application, so

  • I have been asked to limit collected GPS point to have only two decimal
    places, how can i go about it.

  • Also if you have 10 forms submitted to ODK aggregate, and you have 10
    people that need access to view data from ODK aggregate, is it possible to
    limit each of them to have access of one form and not all.

    I don't like others to view the data of others from ODK aggregate.

Short answers are no and no.

If you have different groups needing to see different forms, it is best to
publish the forms to an external server -- e.g., Google Sheets or Fusion
Tables, and set up access permissions on those for the different groups. Or
export to CSV the data, and share that data using file shares with the
appropriate permissions.

This keeps usage to a minimum on the ODK Aggregate server, reducing your
costs.

W.r.t. geopoints, we collect those as-is and do not filter the precision in
any way. If you need to alter the display value, you can probably do that
in Sheets or Fusion Tables. If you need to reduce the precision, you would
likely need to set up a view of the data with the reduced precision --
e.g., use Fusion Tables to create a view with reduced precision.
