Hi,
In the instructions for ODK-Voice ( http://code.google.com/p/open-data-kit/wiki/ODKVoice) number 4 says
Click on Manage
promptshttp://alerer-asterisk.mit.edu:8080/odk-voice/record.jsp to
go to the prompt management page. To record new prompts, you have to call
into the system and press 7 in the 'Welcome to the ... survey' dialog. If
there are any unrecorded prompts (or prompts you've deleted in the Manage
forms page) you will be asked to record them and they will appear in the red
box on the page (this sounds weird but should make sense when you do it).
How do you "call into the system" to record these prompts?
It depends on how you're connected to the telephone system. Have you hooked
up ODK Voice to the telephone system yet? If not, you'll have to do so. The
easiest way for testing is to create an account at evolution.voxeo.com, and
just point it at your ODK Voice server's VoiceXML servlet, e.g.:
Sorry that the wiki page provides so little info - someone should update it
with the contents of that help document.

Added a link into the source tree for the help document. Not an ideal
solution, but at least it provides more guidance.

There is a more detailed description about how to set up your own Voxeo

please note that the url you sent pointed to our old "open-data-kit"
repo which always seems to come up first in the google results. you
want http://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/wiki/ODKVoice instead...
