I have installed the VM in Virtualbox,i wish to connect to mysql and export data and images into another application,how do i connect to mysql in the vm.
If the goal is to get the data and images, the simplest option is to
install ODK Briefcase (https://opendatakit.org/use/briefcase/) and
that will let you download all the data and images.
If you need access to the underlying database, the server is a
standard Ubuntu machine. You can login with root credentials (see the
readme) and install and run whatever software you'd like on it.
