My form to survey the bird, butterfly, etc
For example: I am entering the abundance of a bird and I am seeing the bird again this time the abundance number should add with previous count.

When you'll get a chance please take some time to introduce yourself here and don't hesitate to use a real photo for you profile.
We faced the same need in the past and we found a convenient workaround for the enumerators, consisting in counting the number of time each species was selected. The limitation is that its works with a closed option 'species) list
There is no + or - button for each species but simply show the final count for each species was sufficient.

Probably it would be improved and more generic but for "little" closed species lists it works fine.
