How to see ODK collect in diferents languages

The Form Title is the ... portion of the form. It,
unfortunately, cannot leverage the use of the translations mechanisms used
for the questions in the rest of the form, so it cannot be defined in
multiple languages.

The Form filename is similarly restricted to one value, as it is the
filename in which the form is stored on the device.

Thank you Chris,

I do not know the id phone because the collectors will be voluntary with
their private phones. I will try that they send the idphone by email, but
in that case the username had been easier.

These examples of XLSform have helped me to improve the form. Till now I
only used ODK Build.

Francesc,

We use an automatically-recorded deviceid field to keep track of which
devices filled which forms (e.g., see http://opendatakit.org/help/**
form-design/xlsform/ http://opendatakit.org/help/form-design/xlsform/).
If you know who uses which devices, then you can merge in user details on
the back-end. Alternatively, we have our surveyors fill in a "login" form
at the beginning of each day; on that form, they indicate their personal
details, their location, etc. We then use the deviceid and start-time to
merge login details with later forms filled from the same device on the
same day. That way, a lot of information only needs to be input once per
day (or whenever phones change hands).

Just to be clear, the "login" support is not built in: we just created a
separate form, then wrote Stata code for our back-end process to merge
login details into all subsequent forms (by just finding the most recent
login for the device, prior to the other form in question).

Best,

Chris

Hi

I've tested 1.2 RC 2.

It show the correct language (locale).

When I sent a filled form to my aggregate I must enter first time the
password because it was undefined in settings. That's ok, but the password
mask field in that window is incorrect and unclear. It appears the field
divided by one blue line and the cursor is not seen well. Better the
character * like in Settings.

Is it possible to automatically fill a field in the form with the user
name? The same username defined in settings. Because it is uncomfortable
for the user to repeat every time a user's identifier and I do not see in
aggregate the one who has filled the form. I think that is a necessary
characteristic.
