How to show the result of calculation on the same page as questions

Hello ODKers,
i have a list of questions within a repeat group and displayed on the
same page.
for complicated reasons i would like to display a calculation based on
the answers to these questions at the bottom of the page.
does any one now how i can trigger the calculation to present itself on
the page after the questions are answered? so far all i know how to do is
to navigate to the next page and then return back to the previous page.

You can't.
ODK Collect does not update across values displayed on a single page. If
you have any dependencies among values, they must be on separate pages.
