have few questions about odk collect
1-I would like to know is i can do a cluster sampling in my country for free without a server??
2-how odk collect works ?
3-Hou many form i ca creat freely?
4If payble what do i have to do to have the contract and how much it costs??

Briefly:
(1) all the software (ODK Client, ODK Aggregate, etc.) is free.
Google provides free web hosting (AppEngine) for light usage (e.g., small
pilot studies). The charges for heavier usage are assessed based upon usage
and not at a fixed weekly/monthly rate (instead, you set a maximum weekly
usage charge). In practice, usage charges are extremely low.
When developing forms, to minimize expense and speed your edit-test-change
workflow, you will generally want to produce the XML and copy it directly
to your phone/device for testing, rather
than uploading it to the server and then downloading the update to the
device.
(2) See our user documentation and watch the videos. ODK Collect interprets
the form definition you provide, and produces data files containing the
respondent's answers.
(3) unlimited. Everything is free. You just have to decide where to run the
software, and pay any fees relating to running it. Google AppEngine will be
the lowest-cost high-availability option.
(4) if you begin to depend upon the software, please consider:
(4a) answering other users' questions on this list
(4b) if modifying the software, stipulating in your contracts that all
modifications be contributed back under an Apache 2 license.
