Image-based-Forms

Hi there

I´am from Germany, so I hope you excuse my bad english

Is there a Possibility to change the path-Name for Image (in
Image-based-forms)?
I want to do a Form like Birds-Form (http://splashurl.com/n9fuyzc) with
select_one or _multiple-Questions with Pics at the right side of the Survey.
Here the Tutorial from opendatakit.orgWhere to put the media files

As detailed in http://opendatakit.org/help/form-design/itexthttp://opendatakit.org/help/help/form-design/itext,
the media files [...] should be placed in */[external storage
directory]/odk/forms/[*formname]-media. For example, for the form
birds.xml, the media would go into /sdcard/odk/forms/birds-media.
The problem is:

on my Mobile is the path /sdcard0/odk/forms/birds-media.
and the odk-App didnt find the picture :*(

Have I to change the name of my sdcard on the mobile, eg from sdcard0 to
sdcard (dont know how^^)? or is it possible to change the path-Name
anywhere (eg XML or Excel)? Last one is my prefer one, cause i want to do
the form on a few Smartphones and don´t know what the sdcard-name on eych
mobile-device is

I hope you understand my question.
If anyone have an idea, I would be very happy

Thanks an greetings
Dominik

If it finds the form file, then the form-media directory should be in that
same location.

Let's start with a 'clean' phone:

Under Settings / Apps / Manage Applications / ODK Collect /
choose Clear Data (to clear any settings changes you may have made),
choose Uninstall (to uninstall ODK Collect),
delete the /sdcard/odk/ directory on your phone if it exists
delete the /sdcard0/odk/ directory on your phone if it exists
power off your phone

Then

power on your phone
install ODK Collect 1.4
choose Get Blank Form ( this will contact our default server
http://opendatakit.appspot.com/ to get the form )
choose the Birds form

Now open the Birds form.

Do you see the bird images in the form?

If you do, then everything is working OK. Open your file browser, and
locate where the odk directory is. The location will vary with different
Android OS versions (in particular, 4.1.2 is different from 4.2). That is
where you want to copy your form files (under .../odk/forms), if you are
manually copying them over to your phone. The media directory for the
forms go in that same directory.

If you do not see the bird images when you open that form, what Android OS
are you using, what model phone?
