Importing data into xml

As a novice user I have no idea if this is possible. What I am trying to do
is the following.
I have a short questionnaire which requires the data collector to visit a
list of addresses and collect the answers to a series of questions about
that address. if I email the addresses to the device that the collector
uses to collect the data (as a basic text file?) with some sort of
seperator between house number, street, town, post code.
can that be pulled into the start of the xml file that I have, to populate
the first part of the questionnaire?

I have constructed the form already with all the questions and that works
well so now I need, for example;

I have your address recorded as
1
The high street
any town
AB21 4XC
is this correct
Yes
No

Greatful for any help advice anyone can give me

Oh maybe I should mention that this is running on an android smart phone

Thank you

No.

The ODK 2.0 tool suite will have a new 'ODK Tables' tool that will provide
this type of functionality, but that is not stable/ready for release.
