Individual Education Plan, Differently Abled

I am a retired American living in India and working with an NGO that seeks to help differently abled children and their parents cope with life in the foothills of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand.
We develop individual plans for each family with progress goals and monitoring by Special Educators.
ODK looks like it could help us in tracking, data collection and progress monitoring. We are not IT savvy and could really use some advice whether to even attempt this.
Thank you in advance for your advice.

Hi Peter,

Plenty of folks without IT experience have had success replacing paper
forms with ODK, so it's definitely worth a try. Get started at
http://opendatakit.org/use, and if you get stuck,
http://opendatakit.org/help has resources to help you along.

Good luck, and Happy Thanksgiving!
