Integer in single select questions

Dear All,

I am trying to build in an integer reply into a single selection question.
Example below:

How much did you earn from rental in the last 12 months?

Selection 1: No income
Selection 2: Refused to answer
Selection 3: *String field to put answer *

Is that possible with ODK?

Thanks for the kind support in advance.

Best,
Johannes

Not in ODK Collect. You would need to first ask whether the respondent can
provide their 12-month rental income, and then ask (on a separate screen),
what that income was (if they are willing to provide the amount).

Also, note that all select-one and select-multiple values are all strings.

XLSForm.org has support for select-with-other prompts, and those are
available in Enketo and several other tools, but there are difficulties
with providing this within ODK Collect.
