I am Juan Solon, and my work is mainly in the Philippines, although residing elsewhere.
We have been using various tools to get data reliably, but Entities have made ODK much more usable in many scenarios for our work.
We started using ODK in 2017 with a colleague from LSHTM. We then switched to REDCap for a longitudinal study, because Entities were not yet implemented. With Entities, our group in the Philippines has committed to using ODK. We currently self-host ODK Central with very little IT support, following instructions in ODK Docs. Most of our work are observational studies, trials and monitoring and evaluation in the field of nutrition.
I have no fun fact, but here is my cat. He is ~ 15 years old.
