do the folks on the dev list hang out on irc? would
irc://irc.freenode.net/opendatakit be a useful way to communicate with
the dev team?
I for one, do not IRC. What would be the benefit?

Anyway, what's the harm in setting up a channel?

+1 this would be extremely useful. I use it on a daily basis to talk
directly to other developers. I've always wondered why we don't have an
#opendatakit channel.

alright folks. i've setup an #opendatakit channel on freenode. i won't
be there a lot in the next few days, but come on down. once i get all
the logistics (publicly accessible logs, web chats, etc) sorted out,
i'll also send this out to rest of the community...
