By design, you cannot change data in ODK Aggregate.
That is correct. You correct AFTER exporting the data. Aggregate is meant
to be a repository "of record" that will hold originally submitted data so
that you can always go back to the original.

I had the same problem some weeks ago, that i suggest is to edit the data
in the notepad++ before exporting to aggregate.
I did not have any probblem due this procedure, actually it was possible to
correct some typing mistakes
