Hello ODK Community,
I am writing to seek assistance with an issue I am encountering with my ODK form.
The form includes a question titled "Select Government Institution Type" with the following options: ministry, agency, department, commission, and council.
I have implemented conditional logic to populate the subsequent question, "Select your institution name," with relevant options based on the selected institution type. However, I am observing the following behavior:
- When "council" is selected, the list of relevant district and city councils appears as expected.
- However, when selecting "ministry," "agency," "department," or "commission," the "Select your institution name" field remains empty.
I believe this issue arises from the conditional logic not functioning correctly for these specific institution types.
I would greatly appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue and ensure that the correct list of institutions is populated for each selected institution type.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

I noticed you have already sorted out the issue you mentioned earlier. Overall, the form looks good to me. Just a small suggestion, I personally find it a bit tricky to use names written as text in the choices tab. I usually go with numbers and use text as labels, like you did. Then, when it comes to analysis, I label the values. For example 1: "email", 2: "whatsapp", etc . It is just easier for me to work with numbers rather than text, but that is just my personal preference, so feel free to ignore it if you prefer your approach.
