This is the current state of the upcoming 1.4.3 ODK Collect (with all
translations up through April 15):

If you are unhappy with the translations, now is the time to register and
provide improved versions.
Anyone can TRANSLATE:
Go to: https://www.transifex.com/
Create a login.
After signing in,
click on EXPLORE
Search for ODK
Select ODK Collect
Select Language you want to translate ('lang')
Select "+ Join Team" on the line that says "Languages > lang"
Click on the 'Strings" resource
You can now click "Translate Now"
Click to JOIN the translation team for ODK Collect.
From there, you should be able to update the translations either online or
by downloading the files, editing them locally, and uploading them.
If your language is right-to-left (e.g. Urdu), please download the file
and edit it; the online editor does not expose and honor the LTR and RTL
sequencing escapes which are needed in order to properly represent the
substitution codes (%s, %1$s, etc) in the translation. E.g., %s should be
Latin-American Spanish is under "Spanish - El Salvador" on the Android
device (there is no Latin America locale on the Android).
