ODK collect is very impressive. However, I have noticed one problem. The
location function does not seem to successfully pull a GPS coordinate on a
Huawei Ideos U8150 (running Froyo). It just keeps giving a "please wait a
few moments" message. The GPS turns on, but that message never goes away,
and there are no coordinates in synced records. Other applications,
including other survey software that I've tested, get a location within
seconds. Is there a solution for this? Thanks!
That phone has memory issues. In my case the location is retrieved because
the memory is insufficient.
