Location logic for form branching

As a Geologist wish to design forms based on mobile LOCATION.
Example: The ODK form
1st seeks GPS Location
2nd Branches to a requisite form of Geology which depends on Location (Lat Long)

This might work for Ecological Modelling and other fields where Location matters.

Hi there,

This is possible but complicated. The way I would do it is to define
the GPS ranges and some unique branching key in an external CSV
(http://xlsform.org/#pre-loading-csv-data). Then based on the
branching key, branch to a different part of the form.

All that said, it seems easier to have the different types of geology
as selects and have the user pick which one they are in. That plus
their GPS coordinates will let you figure out if their selection and
data are valid post-submission.

Try a very small form with both of these approaches and see which one
works best!
