I am not the most knowledgeable about ODK other than basic form building and so i turn to you guys to help me as i cannot find a solution anywhere else.
I have the XML file for a form i am currently using on my server. Using that i would like to be able to make a new form with a couple new questions, and upload it to my server as a separate form from the current one. Such that both can be filled simultaneously.

Because you are making non-trivial changes - namely adding new questions - you will need to upload it as an entirely new form (ie you cant just bump up the version number and re-use the old form id). See Updating Forms, specifically https://docs.opendatakit.org/form-update/#replacing-existing-form
