Make ODK Collect require authentication

Hello

I am working with an Aggregate server where I load the Xml of my questionnaire.
On the Collect mobile app, I configure the server settings: Url as the address of my Aggregate and also username+password of the user I created on the server.

The data collection is working correctly but after I try to remove username+password in ODK Collect params, the exchange is still working :open_mouth:

So, no authentication is required by my server to get blank form and afterwards to upload finalized forms.

How to make the authentication required and working?

Hi,

Log into your Aggregate server. Go to Site Admin tab and uncheck all roll (privilege) for Anonymous user under Edit Users. That should resolve your issue.

It works, I haven't remarked this option in "Site Admin". It activates digest authentication between Aggregate and Collect.
