Maximum Length of Note Field?

What is the problem? Please be detailed.
I would like to know the maximum number of characters I can place in a note field?
In string field I know the length is 256 by default but how about note?

What ODK tool and version are you using? And on what device and operating system version?
ODK Collect v1.11.1

What steps can we take to reproduce the problem?

Hello Charlie,

Every field in the ODK has a a default length of 256 characters only . If you wish to increase the length , for string type you can do that . Once see this link for further clarification https://opendatakit.org/help/form-design/guidelines/#datastore_string_length . If you come across anything more related to this please let me know .
