You can use the start-geopoint type question to automatically get the location when the survey is first started. https://docs.getodk.org/form-question-types/#metadata-start-geopoint
You can enable the audit log with location-tracking (although this will be more challenging to analyze). https://docs.getodk.org/form-audit-log/#location-tracking
