Need Help using languge in ofrms odk 2.0 tools

I am using odk 2.0 tools latest rev 2.0 using app designer to convert xlsx
forms.

I need help using additional language on forms so far this is what I have
done

setting_name value display.title display.text.dhivehi
form_id FSW
form_version 20150930
survey FSW
table_id FSW
default English english
dhivehi Dhivehi dhivehi

I have also added column display.text.dhivehi to survey and choices.

Earliest help will be appreciated.

thanks in advance
Sham

using latest rev 204 for odk 2.0

So I was able to correct the settings as follows

setting_name value display.title display.title.divehi
display.tex display.text.dhivehi
form_id FSW
form_version 20150930
survey FSW ފޯމު
table_id FSW
default
English އިނގިރޭސި
divehi
Divehi ދިވެހި

Now I get option to chose language. But still switching language does not
work.

When I changed 'divehi' to be default it shows divehi script on the app
builder but cant switch to English.

Also does not show divehi script on device may be I need to define font ...
any directions for that.

This is the correct location for your question. Sorry for the delay. I
have verified that switching language does not work. Please file an issue,
and we will resolve it as soon as we can. Thank you for bringing this to
our attention.

If the text is not showing up on the device, it could be that your Android
device does not support your chosen language. To see what languages are
supported, go to Settings->Language&input->Language. You may be able to
add support for the language, but I believe you have to root your phone.

Clarice larson,Thanks for confirming this.

Where do I file an issue?

Any fixes will be available with next/subsequent release or do you apply
fixes ones available.

Thanks
Abdullah Sham

Clarice larson,Thanks for a reply.

I dont intend to use 'divehi' as input language. I want to display
questions only.
Later android versions displays divehi script on website without any
issues.
Do I still need to add support for my language.
I am using android 4.1 and android 4.4 devices for testing.

Also if any one can answer regarding switching language.
I I have tried "section test" example provided with full odk app designer
package.
It have 'hindi' as optional language, switching language does not work for
it.
Is it an issue with the odk version.

I have attached said section test example file if any one wants to check.

thanks!
