However, I couldn't connect to this server from ODK tab, it says:
Form listing failed error:
javax.net.ssl.SSLPEERUnverifiedException: No peer certificate while
accessing https://41.122.122.44:5555/odktest/formlist.
I read many blogs here, one of them is to check the certificate; I don't
have any certificate, plus I don't have control outside the instance
boundaries. The instances are created in the HQ, so I'm not sure how to
handle this issue.
I can access the URL from my computer, but cannot do so from ODK collect.
Sorry if this is a repeated post, but in fact, I didn't get benefit from
other posts to resolve my issue.
Thanks Yaw for clearing this up. I will send them an email along with the
check SSL URL so they can fix this issue rather digging into something I
don't have control over.
Android devices have a limited set of root SSL certificates. If the
certs on the server are not configured properly or don't have a
popular root cert, you'll get the error you describe.
My guess is that your HQ team has misconfigured the server.
suggests this is the case.
