New to ODK, looking for a good place to start

Hello group,

Any links to sample XML code for X forms? I'm digesting the paper written by
Carl Hartung, Yaw Anokwa, Waylon Brunette, Adam Lerer, Clint Tseng, and
Gaetano Borriello- I like it!

I'm so new to this, though, that I'd like some sample XML, and hopefully in
a format that explains what it means, geared to ODK. Does something like
this exist? A list of annotated commands used in ODK would be great. A
sample ODK Collect structure with all the necessary (and optional) parts in
the required sequence will help me too.

If not, I'll open some ODK collect .XML files and try to tease out the
structure and logic.

Thank you in advance.

Mike

Hi Mike,

The ODK repository has a set of sample XForms that you can look at and
play with: http://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/source/browse/?repo=forms

The JavaRosa wiki has some good information on getting started using
XForms. You may want to jump straight to the "Reference material on
XForms" section.
https://bitbucket.org/javarosa/javarosa/wiki/buildxforms

Those resources should be a good start.

Thank you, I found the repo=forms site, and I've got plenty to keep me busy.
You guys are great.
Thank you again.
