New to ODK

Hello ODK community:

I work for Build Change, a non-profit social enterprise that trains
engineers on earthquake-safe building practices in Haiti, for new
construction and retrofits. We want to implement a mobile data collection
system and I'm attempting to build an application, but I have so many
questions! Please help!

I am practicing building the form on excel. Can I send it to myself on my
laptop or do I have to send it to an Android tablet?

Thanks! elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,
I'm sure ODK is able to help your data collection completely. Getting
familiar with the system is not painful at all, so be positive.
I suggest you take a close look at the ODK's documentation and formhub.org.
Once you master the flow, you're there.

Of course it would be better if you have an android phone, then you can
download the xml form into ODK collect and start testing.

Cheers.
