ODATA : what is the data type of the __id colmun in repeat tables

Hi everybody,

I'm looking for the data type of the __id column in the repeat tables. It seems to be a random string made of 40 hexadecimal values. Can someone confirm ?
The __id value of the submission table is a uuid.
