Odk aggregate not responding

Hi,
We have an aggregate uploaded with four different versions of the
odk-collec forms. We have data uploaded in all the forms in diffrent
amounts; however when we try to visualize/dowmload the csv data files form
the server, the aggregate keeps on freezing (not responding) with the white
page showing. We enabled the billing system and we are paying for the
subscription.

Would you advise what the problem could be; and the solution to it. We are
desperate to have the data downloaded.

What version of Aggregate are you using? If you are using an older
version it could be timing out.

You can also use Briefcase to generate your CSV. Briefcase will
download all the data from Aggregate and do it locally.

I hope you get sorted out Humphreys!
I'm about to start a project in East Africa (3000 respondents) using KoboCollect and 20 Android phones. I do have the latest ODK-Aggregate uploaded and will buy AppEngine credits before going live.

Quick question: When you buy AppEngine credits, do you notice a marked improvement in form submission success rates? Sometimes I have to cancel and re-submit.

I have a similar problem. I have Aggregate 1.4.6 installed on my cloud server but still get the error message that a script on the page has stopped responding. Mine actually references line 117 of the ODKAggregate.html file.

Do your filled-in forms have many captured images, audio or video? I'm
trying to gauge whether this is impacting submission success rates when
accessing the servers from the field.

Whether or not you're on a billing plan should not affect the success or
failure of ODK Collect sending completed forms to the server.

Note also that upon first accessing an AppEngine server, it will take a
while for it to start up -- somewhere around 25 seconds, by my measure. So
this would cause the first submission from ODK Collect to take longer than
subsequent ones (if that first submission had to wait while Google "spins
up" the server).

Can you copy-and-paste the actual error or send a screen capture showing it?

And, as always, you should try to upgrade to the latest release at least
once a year.

What web browser are you using?

Open a Private Browsing or Incognito Window, and use that to access ODK
Aggregate.

Do you have the same error?

If it does, try a browser that you don't normally use, again in Private
Browsing or Incognito window.

If either of those work, then it is a browser plug-in or browser extension
that is causing this issue.

I.e., perhaps a pop-up blocker of some sort?
