ODK Aggregate using Google App Engline (4/20/15 migration)

Hi all,

I run ODK Aggregate using Google App Engine. I have updated ODK Aggregate
to 1.4.5 successfully (from 1.3.2). I have two questions:

  1. On April 20th, 2015 should I expect any changes/interruptions in ODK
Aggregate use, and/or access to ODK Aggregate due to the expected
    migration https://developers.google.com/+/api/auth-migration#timetable?
(i.e. if I am in the midst of a survey deployment, is there a possibility
    there may be disruptions?).
  2. Is the Google account (previously I assumed this was the "super-user"
account in previous ODK versions) in the Site Admin tab, under permissions
still required? Is there any advantage to leaving this, or can it be
deleted (leaving no "Google" account types)?
  3. The new "super-user" is the username in the Site Admin tab, under
permissions which cannot be deleted. Is this correct?

Thanks for the feedback

~Lloyd

Beginning on April 20, 2015,
you will no longer be able to log onto ODK Aggregate with a Google account
(Gmail or Google Apps).

(1) No. This does not affect ODK Collect data submissions, as those use ODK
Aggregate usernames.
(2) Any Gmail and Google Apps accounts showing on the Site Admin page will
effectively be useless and there is no benefit for leaving these. No ETA on
when or if we will re-instate that capability.
(3) Correct. The username that is greyed is the configured super-user
username.
