ODK barcode question

Hi,
I'm new to ODK collect, i've been experimenting with the online ODK build
tool to build forms,,, I seem to have a problem with barcodes,,,
as whenever i put a barcode within a group that is a) looped and/or b)
displayed on one screen, the following uncharacteristic things happen

  1. The fields are NOT displayed on one screen
  2. After capturing barcode, form input starts at the very beginning of the
    form

without barcode field, everything works fine, is this how its supposed to
work ?? is their a work-around ???

Cheers

No, it isn't the way it is supposed to work.

It may be a result of the barcode scanner taking a high-resolution image,
but that is just a guess.

If you can install a tool like Catlog, run ODK Collect to exhibit the
behavior, then, using Catlog, send the log to yourself and create a New
Issue ( http://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/issues/list ) with that log
file as an attachment, that would help us debug this issue.

And if you can, also attach the form XML to that issue.
