Hi there,
I haven't been able to find any documentation (or information here or the
developer's group), but it is possible to run ODK briefcase from the
command line?
Cheers,
Maia

Hi Maia,
did you manage to run briefcase from the command line?
Cheers,
Aurelio
Thanks for your reply Mitch, but what I'm actually looking for is the
ability to run - not launch - briefcase via command line - ie, I want to be
able to pull and export in a batch script.
Hi,
No, we did manage to write a hack script to pull and convert the files, but
it didn't go through ODK briefcase, instead we wrote a script that goes to
the website and 'presses' the buttons to download each file. Then we
abandoned it - partially because the project is a little bit up in the air,
I don't recall if it really worked properly - the new version of odk
aggregate was giving some difficulty. Sorry I can't be of help. If we make
any real progress I'll be sure to provide it.
Best,
Maia

May I suggest filing an issue on the website so command lines will be
added to a future Briefcase release:

No, it is only a UI tool.
If you're a developer, you can pick the Java code apart or write scripts
directly to the API
http://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/wiki/BriefcaseAggregateAPI to get data
out of the server your own way. You would need to set up the client to use
Digest authentication -- client-side recommendations are here:
https://bitbucket.org/javarosa/javarosa/wiki/AuthenticationAPI The server
does not impose any tests or restrictions on what the client sets up w.r.t.
nonce, etc.
