ODK Briefcase is not creating separate .csv files for repeat sections

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong. I installed Briefcase and set it to
pull data from our sample surveys. Instead of creating separate .csv files,
there is one file with one line each for each of our 5 test surveys. For
the variables that repeat, there is the same weblink as on ODK Aggregate.

I used Excel to open the downloaded .csv file with the Import function. Is
there anything else I may be overlooking?

It sounds like you are using the Export function on ODK Aggregate to
generate the CSV file then download it.

With Briefcase, you just download ODK Briefcase from here

And double-click that file to run it (the only "install" is to install Java
on your machine before you double-click to launch Briefcase -- there isn't
any "install" step).

You then Pull data into ODK Briefcase from your server, and, once pulled,
Export the data to CSV files.

If your data has no filled-in data for your repeats, the export might not
generate any additional CSV files.

There will be no URLs in the data exported this way (it simply is not
possible).

Ah, thank you - that was in fact what I'd done.
