i don't know how to use ODK briefcase, and what is it used for? if any one can shortly explain usage of briefcase.

This used when you have few forms which is not received on the server or you want to pull forms from the server.
Mainly this works when we push missing forms on the server.

Another spin to the use of Briefcase is when you don’t have internet connection. For me, most of my projects are done in very remote areas where internet is a luxury so Briefcase comes in handy at times when you want to get the data off the mobile in an excel format so you can do some processing on it.
