Thanks for the information on translating. I have gone through the French
items that need to be translated but I find some of the English confusing
(I am a native english speaker). I am not sure if the new English I see is
a new item/setting somewhere or a rewrite of an existing item.
Take for example: Change default to finalized I found in the xml file to
edit. In the app 1.2.2 (1023) the general settings say Default to finalized.
So I am guessing that some of the English is not new text but rather
updates. Please confirm. Would it not be simpler to just write Set default
to finalized since it is a check box (yes/no)? "Change" is not the right
word to use here in my opinion.

show splash screen. Is this the same as the previous easy-to-understand show
splash screen ? "change show" is confusing.

We keep bumping into these localization issues, and I think that the
community has all the pieces needed to make it better (e.g., refactor
the strings, switch to web-based localization). Any developers
