Gabriel,
Version number is under Site Admin tab, then Preferences. It should be
the first thing you see. If you don't have any version information,
then you are running a very old version of Aggregate (e.g., <1.2) and
you should upgrade.
For old versions of Aggregate, your best upgrade path is to use
Briefcase to download all your data first. Then install a new copy of
Aggregate on a totally new server and use Briefcase push the old data
there. This approach ensures you always have two copies of your data
(on the old server and in Briefcase) so I strongly recommend you try
this first.
https://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/wiki/AggregateReleaseNotes has
information on the differences between the versions. It also has all
the upgrade steps if you choose to upgrade the old server in place
instead of setting up a new server.
