Has anybody used Enketo with ODK?

Problem with cascading filter inside repeat group

Hi,

I tried creating a sample form where i should get the list of cities displayed for the selected state. I tried using the "choice_filter" for this feature.

I tried this first in the "choice_filter" column.

state=${state}

It worked fine for the first time. But for the recurring repeats it throws exception. And when tried using "state=current()/../state" in the "choice_filter" column, it displays only the title with no cities in it.

Attaching the xls sheet for your reference. Kindly suggest me the way to get it work fine.

making local odk server online

See the set-up guide here:

You are struggling with the "Configure for Network Access" section of that
guide.

The necessary configuration is very specific to your network structure. We
are therefore unable to guide you beyond what is described in that guide.

Your ISP tech support may be able to help you if you are trying to set up a
DNS name for your server. If you and they are unable to configure your
system as described in that section, you will need to hire someone
knowledgeable in network configuration.

dear all,

i have comnfigured my local odk server to run on the local network,

what does it need to become online and access the ODKaggregate from outside
my office?

i have tomcat 6 and my sql 5.5

my odk aggregate is : http://192.168.0.103:8080/ODKAggregate

i have a dynamic dns which is : avsiodk.ddns.net ip: 178.135.199.243

i don't have a domain, does it need a domain?

if not what to do next?

You can recreate ODKAggregate.war file by mentioning public IP, then undeploy older WAR and deploy new one.

Refer last para of section "Install ODK Aggregate" from this link https://opendatakit.org/use/aggregate/tomcat-install/
