eopoxf@gmail.com: Aug 13 02:20AM -0700Hi,
Is there a way in which I can loop through repeat group atleast once while
rendering the form. The user should not be able to delete the default group
(i.e first group) but can add or delete if they have more than one group. Thanks in advance.
Yaw Anokwa yanokwa@nafundi.com: Aug 13 01:08PM -0700If you remove jr:template="" from the repeat group XML, the form will
automatically create the first repeat without asking the user.Haven't tried, but I don't think you can prevent a delete of a repeat
(e.g., by marking it read only). Try it and let the community know. If
that doesn't work, best you can do is prevent someone from continuing
if a repeat has zero repeats in it. You can have a note prompt that is
required when count(/data/repeat_node) < 1.Yaw

Erastus semson erastus.semson@gmail.com: Aug 13 04:01AM -0700I would love to develop a campus mapping application for my campus using
ODK, how ever, i have no much understanding of ODK.the app should be able to mapm all buildings and able to give directions,
like if a new student does not know where the admin block is and he/she
type admin block that it would able to locate and give direction for the
block. in short its like google map or GIS Mobile but only for my campus.thank you guys
Yaw Anokwa yanokwa@nafundi.com: Aug 13 07:03AM -0700Please do not email both lists.
ODK is not a good fit for what you are describing. Try Open Street Map
(http://www.openstreetmap.org/) or Mapbox (https://www.mapbox.com/).Yaw

Is there any way I can have the images named using a variable inside the
form? Example, use a name of a building and then have each of the 3 images
named "$buildingname_front" , "$buildingname_side" etc?Bash

Yaw Anokwa yanokwa@nafundi.com: Aug 13 07:01AM -0700Bashir,
You can use a calculate to store what you want the image named (e.g.,
during your analysis phase) but you cannot change the underlying filename
that Collect uses. That underlying filename has to be unique and that's why
it's named automatically.Yaw

Using ODK Aggregate With an Access Database
http://groups.google.com/group/opendatakit/t/2761ff1c0a7459ea?utm_source=digest&utm_medium=email
Tracy Kay traccykay@gmail.com: Aug 13 01:19AM -0700Hi Guys,
I am quite new with the ODK aggregate and i am doing project that uses an
access database.
My question is, can ODK aggregate work with the access db or does it only
work with SQL?
Users of the ODK collect upload forms onto Formhub and formhub is normally
quite congested so I was wondering
if the ODK forms could be uploaded straight into the database if I am
using
Access?
Anyone who can help? I'd really appreciate.Tracy
Bashir Jahed admin@osilab.net: Aug 13 01:45PM +0200Hi Tracy
As far as I am aware the only db options are MySQL and postgres. To get
the data into access you would need to do some post processing. Another
option would be to use Google app engine and stream the data to Google
spreadsheet of fusion tables.Bashir

ODK xls form repeat problem
http://groups.google.com/group/opendatakit/t/dcbef1b7ebfd079?utm_source=digest&utm_medium=email
Yaw Anokwa yanokwa@nafundi.com: Aug 12 09:35PM -0700Becky,
I'm using ODK Collect 1.4.3 (1042) and I'm not seeing this problem.
After two B repeats, I can add an A repeat, then add multiple C
repeats. What version of ODK Collect are you using? Also, how did you convert
your XLSForm (e.g., xlsform.opendatakit.org, formhub, ona)?Yaw
