Greetings!
As the title states, I got the code as expected, however, there was no pop
up to configure it and there is no way to paste it then hit something,
everything is greyed out, am I missing something?

Update: Ubuntu didn't work either

Hi Sergio,

This happened to me a few times too but I quit and re-opened my
browsers and then it started working all of a sudden.

On your Windows machine, is there a hidden file at
C:\Users\Serge.appcfg_oauth2_tokens_java? And on Ubuntu is it there
at ~/.appcfg_oauth2_tokens_java?

Yaw

This can also happen if you have multiple monitors on your system -- the
pop-up dialog can be on the other screen. It can also be buried under all
of your other windows.

I have also seen this happen once on Windows 10. In that case, it occurred
when the browser needed to be started.

When I then left the browser open, and closed and restarted the installer,
then the pop-up was displayed as the tab opened within the browser to the
Google site. But this is not a solid reproduction case -- I've done this
dozens of times during development and testing and never had that happen.

For those with the technical skills, there is also a command-line interface
to the installer.

Greetings! Thanks guys
I managed to solve it by clicking validate instead of verify token,
however, took me a few reboots, since it was throwing some random errors
when I tried "validate" straight away.
I also updated as file:///C:/User/....File.exe in java exception list
(though I had it before with 2 slashes instead of 3).
Yaw, the file is there (not sure if it was before it started to work).
Mitch I didn't have another monitor plugged in. The error was on w10, but,
since in ubuntu didn't work either, I didn't bother to try on win 7.
