ODK GPS cordinates offline

Dear All,

Am having a form where one of the variables is gpspoints, I want to collect
data using phones without internet and submit the collected data later in
the day when I have got to a place with wifi.

Qtn. is it possible to collect GPS coordinates without access to internet.

Some of the cheaper devices do not have "true GPS" but rely on cell towers
to give approximate coordinates. If you have one of those, then no.
Otherwise, yes.

is particularly nice at showing what the GPS navigation system is doing,
including which satellites it has locked onto. It should be able to confirm
that your device has true GPS.

GPS does not require internet to be recorded.
Even without internet, GPS can be recorded.
