These calls bring together the Technical Advisory Board for the ODK suite (@TAB) to discuss roadmaps, working groups, and other issues of technical governance. Everyone is welcome to come to these calls, but only TAB members may talk.
One thing I'd like to bring to your attention is that we have made changes to the Central Block 12 review workflow criteria:
Replace manual "Needs Rereview" state by an "Edited" state. Any time a submission is edited, its review state is automatically changed to "Edited".
Review state changes are displayed as a feed rather than a table
Comments can be added without a state change
We've made these changes because:
Some people who reviewed the criteria found the "Needs Rereview" state confusing
A natural extension is showing a diff with every edit and this would be a lot to display in a table
We heard from @aurdipas and others that they'd like review and edit work to be assignable in some way. This feels more natural to display as a feed (and when assignment is added, users would see their assigned work)
We've heard the need for free-form comments about a submission not linked to a state change (notes, questions).
I don't think this necessarily needs discussion but please do review and provide feedback as appropriate.
