Hi everyone,
If you are using Google AppEngine and were running ODK Aggregate 1.0 prior
to 1.0.3, you may have fallen victim to an ODK Aggregate publishing bug
that can cause excessive charges.
Please:
- Go to https://appengine.google.com
- Click on your application id.
- Click on 'Task Queues'
Two "Push Queues" will be listed. For each, look at the value of "Tasks in
Queue." It should be less than 100. I have at least one report of a queue
length of 3.4 MILLION.
You can safely clear the queued tasks:
- Click on the queue name (e.g., 'default' or 'upload-submission-queue').
- Click on 'Purge Queue' (be sure to click on 'Purge Queue' DO NOT delete
the queue).
If you had over 100 queued tasks, PLEASE SEND ME E-MAIL including the
version of ODK Aggregate you're running and the queue sizes you found.
And if you haven't already, please upgrade to 1.0.4.
