Reference Entered Data in a Select_one/multiple Question

I have a question about using data collected in the first part of a survey to populate select_one/multiple lists later in the same survey.

Quite a complex survey design but essentially we are asking about people living in the same house as or visiting specific visiting individuals. Then we have later questions about people who have been unwell etc - clearly some of these lists might overlap so it would be great to be able to potentially internally reference the entered data.

E.g
Q1) List everyone who lives in the house (repeated group of questions)
Q5) Show a list of all the people named in Q1 and ask which of them have been sick in the last year

Any suggestions or even just to know that this isn't possible would be helpful.

Yes, it's possible. There are several topics discussing this. There is a problem with performance if there are too many repeats (household members) though.
