Repeat Groups Responses as Options

I am using a repeat group but want the response to be choices for another questions

If I am repeating ages of children in a repeat group, what should I do to select the child with the youngest age>

I understand you have a problem and that's why you are asking but could you attach at least a draft form? It's much easier to understand and help then.

There isn't direct support for this in XLSForm but you can do it with a modification to the converted XML as described in Generate multiple choice alternatives, based on the answers in a repeat - #4 by LN.

There is a proposal to add support for this in XLSForm at https://github.com/XLSForm/pyxform/issues/38 and it looks like @Ukang_a_Dickson and team will be addressing it soon.
