using email rainforestrecording@gmail.com

I have created a new form, collected data and submitted it to the appspot,
only 3 records from a 5 question survey, including an image

and when i publish from appspot to fusion tables I get this error

Could anyone help

thanks

Jon

Jon,

It'd be helpful to see the stacktrace below the
ODKExternalServiceException line, but I'm guessing you've run out of
quota on the Fusion Table side of things. See
https://developers.google.com/fusiontables/docs/v1/using#quota for
what the limits are and to check to see if you've run out.

Hi there Yaw

I have looked in the API console and there wasn't a quota tab to click on
but that might have been because there were no services turned on, should
more be turned on, is this odd - so I Just turned on the google fusion
table api, then I could see a quota tab, and it was showing as 0% used.

So I re tried the publish from appspot to fusion and got same message - see
below - this is the full message I get on the page so no further info

Any thoughts? - help much appreciate as looking to do a presentation
showing data in fusion at a conference in Brazil in two weeks time - so in
bit of a panic

thanks

all the current data

I think the last time i considered upgrading i was worried as we were in a
heave data collection phase and i didnt want to interupt anything and i was
worried about loosing data

Hi

thanks for the info - but maybe its late and working too much - but from
the links below its not clear as to what to do exactly

What do I download, what is the process to follow - is there a helpful page
with screen shots as to what to do?

I have just created a new appspot instance and downloaded the latest
version of aggregate and pushed that to it, and that seems to work ok - but
if I do this on my current appspot will it just overwrite everything

Thanks

Jon

Jon,

If you haven't actually run out of quota, then this might be the
Fusion Tables API's way of saying that it's deprecated. Are you using
the latest version of Aggregate? I believe version v1.3 or greater
should work.

You need to read back through the release notes and follow the instructions
along the way as we do NOT tell you hot to upgrade between every version
just between the current version and the previous version. Please note the
instructions are platform dependent, the mysql versions are different than
aggregates.
http://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/wiki/AggregateReleaseNotes

If you are worried about losing data I suggest you use briefcase to
download a local copy of your data to a safe place.

Cheers,
Waylon

Jon,

To upgrade Aggregate, download the new version, and install over the
old version. Each upgrade has some gotchas (e.g., some versions will
break existing Fusion Tables publishers) and those are detailed at
https://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/wiki/AggregateReleaseNotes.

The best upgrade path depends on the details of your deployment. For
such a big upgrade, one approach is to backup your data to your local
computer first using Briefcase, then install Aggregate v1.3.4 on a new
server, and push that data to that new server. Then you can point your
devices to the new server and start publishing your data from there.
