Resintalled Aggregate but need to restore old database

Hi All,
I has Aggregate up and running on my system using MySQL storage. I cant
remember teh exact version but it was installed almost an year back and I
remember having logged in using gmail account. I have since had to
reinstall my OS (Win 7 to Win 8 to Win 8.1). Today, I finally reinstalled
Aggregate Server (latest version). I also restored my odk_prod database
dump prior to starting the Tomcat server. However my password does not seem
to be working.
Where did I go wrong? were there any additional steps taht I had to take ?
Vivek

Hi,
Just to inform that I managed to solve it. I did a a fresh install. Created
a couple of accounts. Stooped tomcat. Then copied over
the _registered_users table from the new database to the old database.
Finally replaced the new database with the old database(with the replaced
_registered_userstable).
Restarted Tomcat. Now I am able to log in to Aggregate.with the just
created usernames and am able to see all old data as well.
Happy !

Vivek,

Glad it's working. For future reference, you can also move data using
ODK Briefcase. That is, you can pull data from the old Aggregate
instance and push it to the new Aggregate instance.
