Right to left XLS form issue

Dear all,

I have an issue with an XLS form in arabic. The "${type}" that I have
included in the label of my questions are not recognized in the arabic
version of my ODK questionnaire while it is in the english version. I
suspect that the "right to left" languages do not really recognized a left
to right ${type}. I attached an example of my issue. On the tablet, in the
arabic version, only the "${type}" not the type appears while it is working
correctly in english.
Have you ever experienced this problem?

you need to write it exactly in the arabic way to make it work. ${type} -> {type}$
