Dear ODK team,
We started up our own ODK server and it went very smoothly! We are very much interested to give users more fine-grained permissions regarding to reading/writing/editing and the current roles are not really sufficient. In the 'User Settings' tab we see a greyed out option regarding 'Role Settings', we are very interested as to what these settings entail and when they would be available.

The Get ODK team recently published a roadmap for ODK showing what they're working on. It doesn't have exact dates, but rather just Now, Next, and Future categories - as it can be hard to predict the exact time something will be done. Currently there's a card for "Enhancing user permissions" and it is in the Future group. The ODK team is always interested in hearing from users. If you could describe your use case(s) in Ideas it will help them when they begin work on that functionality.
