'Save to PDF' option for completed forms in ODK Collect

1. What is the general goal of the feature?

To be able to save a completed form in a PDF format on the device that completed the form.

The PDF should only contain the selected / completed answers so as to be more concise / human-readable.

2. What are some example use cases for this feature?

  • Being able to print the completed forms directly from the mobile device on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Being able to share the completed forms outside of the ODK ecosystem.

3. What can you contribute to making this feature a reality?

No official feature yet, but I did manage to alter ODK Collect to be able to print (albeit in a clumsy way, the application needs to be modified for each new Form Template you want to be able to print)
